Succeed !

admin | body care | Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

Are you successful? What does that word mean to you?
Unlimited wealth, “toys” as far as the eye can see, or family
gatherings at your cottage on the lake?

Success is a state of mind, and I would like to help you
Succeed! Below are some dynamic belief steps
to follow.

S - Start believing in yourself and what you do!
Starting=beginning. If you wouldn’t have taken
the risk and got on your bicycle for the first
time, would you have the confidence that you
do now as you mount your bike for a ride
through town? This belief comes from within and
turns your dreams and vision into reality!

U - Understand another’s point of view. You don’t
know it all, so don’t appear to. Put yourself in their
shoes and listen. Have empathy.

What does the other person want? What are they feeling?
Block out your own feelings and the voice that has a
response to their statements and truly “BE” with the
one you are talking with. Don’t interrupt!
Have you ever thought up the perfect response,
so witty and smart, that it burst out of your mouth,
only to stop the sentence coming out of the other person’s mouth.
You missed them and possibly the sale or relationship.

Have you ever truly been understood?
It is the best feeling in the
world. When you put yourself aside to put the
other person first, that is true sacrifice and success.

C - Confidence isn’t a feeling, it is an action. You need to
have it, even when you just don’t feel like you can!

C - Collaborate , share your successes, be vulnerable
and share your mistakes. Be real! You will become a
people magnet. Surround yourself with people you admire.
Look for like minded people, people who have what
you want, who believe as you believe! Find out how
they got to where they are and then do the same. Billionare
Ross Perot paid millions to attract the brightest to his company.
Be people smart.

E - Exercise your brain and body. Read, read, read!
Readers are leaders. Have you thought about that, it is
true. The more you know, the more confident you feel
and the more comfortable you feel collaborating with
those who have what you want. Sound familiar?

Run, run, run! Keep your body in shape. Make a list of
the people you admire, who have what you want? What
do they look like? Do they exercise or take care of their
outer body as well as their mind and soul?

E- Encourage others! Your friends, family, business partners
all deserve to hear praise. Dig deep to find something they are
good at or have done well, then say it, write it, sing a song to
it, whatever, just acknowledge it to that other person!

D- Determine to be better than who you are and you’ll
be surprised at who you’ll become! Use the
bulldog determination like the tortoise and the Hare. Even
the snail made it to the ark. Determine not to quit,
creatively begin again and again, and again!

How hard are you going to work?
How bad do you want it! It isn’t that hard, just

Start believing in yourself.

Understand another’s point of view.

Confidence - do it and then feel it!

Collaborate with those who have what you want.

Exercise your mind, body and soul.

Encourage others.

Determine to be better than who you are and you’ll be surprised at who you’ll become -

Then SUCCEED!

Elliptical Workouts

admin | body care | Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

Elliptical workouts basically involve aerobic or cardiovascular exercise. Elliptical cross trainers can be intimidating at first glance but once you get familiar with them you will find them easy to use and a fun part of your routine.

To begin your elliptical workout, stand with your feet firmly planted in the movable footpads. The advantage of your feet being stationary makes this a smooth and non-jarring motion that is unique to the elliptical cross trainers. Grab the handles to add the upper body movement for a total body workout.

Elliptical motion feels very natural and compliments normal body movements only making it feel like the workout is easier. Elliptical workouts are equal or greater than similar equipment such as the treadmill creating a safer workout. It reduces the harmful stress and impact on your muscles and joints.

With time a major concern in our daily lives, an elliptical workout can be very desirable. It provides a total body workout utilizing one machine therefore saving time in having to go from machine to machine to achieve the same effect for all the different areas of the body.

An elliptical trainer benefit is they are safe for beginners and will even challenge the pro athletes. And because most people like to use these machines, they are more likely to workout on a regular basis. Consistent elliptical workouts will help in attaining good overall cardiovascular health.

It generally takes twenty minutes of elliptical exercise to start burning calories and improve your cardio health. If you are just starting out, exercise for twenty minutes and work up from there as your fitness level improves. Try to set 3 days a week as your goal to workout and work up to 5 days when you become more fit.

Another elliptical trainer benefit is they are perfect for burning fat. To burn fat effectively, you need to exercise at a moderate pace for a long period of time. Elliptical cross trainers give you the slow, aerobic, long duration type of exercise that works best to burn fat.

If you are looking for a good overall workout in the shortest amount of time, the elliptical workout is an ideal choice.

Exercises for Better Sex

admin | body care | Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

Sex is a physical activity so naturally getting and keeping fit will greatly improve your love-making skills. Here are some exercises for better sex.

The pubococcygeal (PC) muscles

The muscles you use to stop urinating midstream are called the pubococcygeal (PC) muscles. If you’re male they’re also the muscles that contract when you ejaculate. You can learn to build control over them and prolong ejaculation by doing an exercise called a Kegel. Start by doing a short clench of your PC muscles, relax, and then try to do a longer clench for about 10 to 15 seconds. Repeat ten times, at least three times a day. The more you do the better control you will have.

Kegel exercises are good for women to do as well. By practicing them you will have more control over your vaginal muscles. You’ll get more sexual satisfaction and a reduced chance of vaginal infections.

Pelvic lifts

Lie down on your back with your knees bent and your hands by your side. Lift your pelvis up and down as if you were having sexual intercourse. This is a great exercise for the doggy-style position. It’s also my favorite exercise for better sex.

Push-ups

Lie down on your stomach with your hands parallel to your shoulders. Push up with your hands until your arms are straight and your chest and knees are off the ground. Then lower your body so it almost touches the ground. Repeat ten to twenty times.

Crunches

Lie down on your back with your knees bent. Cross your feet together and lift them off the ground so that they are parallel to the floor. With your hands on the back of your head or crossed against your chest lift your chest off the ground using your stomach. Be sure to focus on a spot on the ceiling to avoid straining your neck. Do three sets of twenty each.

Slides

Lie down on your back with your knees bent. Place your hands on the top of your thighs and slide them to the top of your knees, lifting your chest off the ground and using your stomach muscles. Slide your hands back down to your thighs. Do three sets of twenty each. Again, be sure to focus on a spot on the ceiling to avoid straining your neck

Prayers

Lie down on your back with your knees bent and legs apart. With your hands in a prayer position push them through your legs, lifting your chest off the ground and using your stomach muscles. Do three sets of twenty each.

Do push-ups and stomach exercises to strengthen your shoulder, back and abdominal muscles. You won’t tire as easy when you’re making love.
